ConsultRegimeIn recent years, the Angolan authorities have been implementing several measures, namely legislative ones, with the objective of liberalizing trade in goods and services (simplifying, facilitating and reducing bureaucracy), promoting private initiative (the State having the role of regulator / guiding the development of foreign trade, in order to create an attractive environment for competitiveness) and eliminate obstacles in international transactions. Notwithstanding the reforms implemented or to be implemented with a view to simplifying and liberalizing international transactions, there is, at the same time, a reversal of the trend in the definition of Angolan trade policy, from a protectionist perspective (following the financial and economic crisis caused, namely, by the drop in the price of oil on the international market), through the taking of various measures likely to translate into obstacles of a tariff nature
